With more than two decades in the Michigan brewing industry, Fred Bueltmann, aka “The Beervangelist” will share his perspective and insights on how craft beer has contributed to a connected lifestyle. You’ll hear about the history of New Holland Brewing, the Michigan Brewer’s Guild and original stories from his book, Beervangelist’s Guide to the Galaxy.
Enjoy a multiple-course meal planned and sourced by head chefs and New Holland’s Beervangelist, Fred Bueltmann – based on their trips to local farms. Each course will be paired with New Holland beer or spirits and reflect the seasonal harvest.
Fred is an outspoken, fiercely passionate champion of well-made beer and food. His exuberant and sometimes manic quest to integrate beer more gracefully than just adding it to bread and soup led to his new book. The book is full of mouth-watering recipes and tantalizing photos. It also features mini rants on the culture of food, drink, and entertaining.
